Together with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Zonta Club Luxembourg, the University of Luxembourg invites on 11 March to a film session on women’s rights.

The film to be shown called “Eufrosina’s Revolution” tells the story of the Mexican Eufrosina, who cannot exercise her office after being elected mayor only because she is a woman and starts a battle for her rights. Once a grassroots activist, she gradually develops into a full-fledged administrator.

This film session, organised in the framework of the International Women’s Day, will take place on 11 March 2015 at 18:00 on Campus Limpertsberg, room BS 0.03, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Netherlands in Luxembourg, Peter W. Kok, the District 27 Governor of Zonta International, Florence Fischer-Herber and the Gender representative at the University of Luxembourg, Christel Baltes-Löhr. It will be followed by a public discussion and a reception.
